By srinivas this book is a good start for managers in understanding the software engineering process. it talks about the the effective practices that are to be followed.it is consice and can be used as a ready reference for certain technical issues like software configuration management, metrics. it gives an insight to the CASE tools available. its worth buying this book if u r looking for a begining.
