3No Disaster/not badMar 03, 2010

The book is easy to read and to understand. I already read three chapters, they very clear. The questionnaire at the end of the chapter reinforce the material. This is very useful.

5Prepare yourselfFeb 06, 2012

I am a big proponent of being prepared for anything and everything because you never know what curveballs life might throw at you. So, as an elective for my MBA, I decided to take a course entitled Contingency Planning. This Guide to Disaster Recovery was my textbook for the course. It is one I will definitely be keeping to reference in the future. The first couple chapters give you an overview of a disaster recovery planning process and the subsequent chapters provide a more indepth coverage of each step. There are sample forms, examples, case studies, etcetera. This is an excellent resource to prepare you for the possible unknown.

The book is quite the detailed item and goes over the formal process of Disaster recovery. Great to pull out in the midst of the job and show co-employees what is expected
