More than helpfulFeb 06, 2010 You will find within these pages more than expected, or at least I did. There is information that the title does not prepare you for, but for the individual who is seriously considering to get into the Market, I do believe this is a great place to start.

Yes, for dummiesFeb 01, 2010 If you already know the basics of investing you're probably well beyond this book. Also, I assume that the author is a better expert on investing than he is on firearms issues because the "facts" that he puts in the book about firearms is definitely for dummies. You'll notice gun control propaganda which are factually incorrect peppered throughout the book which left this reader less than impressed.

great for seasoned investors as wellDec 18, 2009 I bought this to help me make the most of the information out there on the internet we now have access to without going through paper reports and trusting the press for their insights and analysis. Investing has come a long way and this book helps make sense of it and is an excellent guide.

Great, Useful, Informative and excellent introduction to investingOct 15, 2009 I recently purchased this book and am very pleased with it. It is surprisingly good, comprehensive and detailed. It lists a host of useful online websites for all types of research and analysis. The book didn't elaborate much on market timing and specifically when to buy and sell and didn't speak at length about signal indicators. Still, it's an excellent book and I don't see why any beginning investor wouldn't be very pleased with it. It is written in a clear and interesting way and packed with information. It talks about fundamental and technical analysis and give overviews of trading with stocks, bonds, mutual funds and options(though the book mainly focuses on stocks). A very informative and educational book for the beginning to intermediate investor. Highly recommended.
