Kai-Lan's Safari Pals is a good "lift the flap book". It follows the TV show, so my 2 year old daughter understood the characters and story line right away. If your child likes Kai-Lan and the "lift the flap" book, this is a good book to read with her.
I would have liked more Chinese in the book, with the English/Chinese/Pronounciation reference at the back.
I bought the book because my daughter requested a "book in chinese" and this one doesn't really have much. If you are looking for a book with several Chinese words in it, I don't recommend this book. If you are looking for a nice book to read, then I recommend it.

I bought this for my daughter who loves Kai Lan. She loved the book because it was a Kai Lan book but it's actually pretty boring.
