I really like this book; it differs from most of the high-tech books in various ways, eg. the content is written almost like fiction, yet it comprises all technical aspects within security, ranging from security issues in networking cables till very OS specific matters. Both the Unix and Windows OS are comprenensively stressed. If you are interested in security in general, this is really the book for you. The author has gathered various information from some of the best indepth security books available and presented the content in a very delight fashion.
